Who is Style Me Events?
Style Me Events was started in 2019 by Sara’s sister, Sofia. With over 7 years of experience in styling events, especially destination weddings, Sofia decided to create her own events rentals and design company in the Riviera Maya.
Sara joined the team in 2020. What was supposed to start out as a short two-week vacation ended up becoming a permanent stay and a brand-new lifestyle, thanks to pandemic complications.
However, it seems more like a kismet occurrence to me, as Sara is truly talented and has definitely found her calling. Riviera Maya brides are blessed to have access to her professionalism, and her beautiful vision.
Sara says that she sees style “like her nephew” – she takes care of him, helps him to grow, and gives all of her love to him. This love and devotion are really seen through her work. Not a detail goes missed; each and every decor item is chosen and displayed with love.
Sara and her company love “love”, and they infuse it into everything they do for their brides. I had the best experience ever working with Sara, and I can’t wait to share more in this blog!

My Experience with Style Me Events:
From the moment of first begining to talk with Sara, and then meeting her in person for the first time, I knew I was in good hands. In fact, all of my fears were immediately put to rest. She completely just “got” it – the exact vibe I was going for. She was full of ideas and suggestions, and was excited about making our vision come to life!
However, what really shines the brightest about Sara is her heart of gold. This woman is sweet, bubbly, and friendly, and her personality is so warm. You immediately feel as if you’ve made a new best friend. She is supportive, and encouraging, and you just feel so good being around her. Definitely a great person to be around during the most important day of your life!
She’s incredibly professional, too. During the wedding design planning process, she put together a Vision Board (which was basically my Pinterest board come to life – it was that bang-on!) It included all of my pampas and dried floral elements, my exact color scheme of blush pink, gold and neutrals, and all of the boho textures I could dream of. It was truly perfect, and such a nice additional layer to understanding that your wedding designer really “gets it”.
Her team arrived the afternoon before to deliver the larger decor elements and store them in the venue until the next day. On the wedding day, they brought the rest of the elements, such as the smaller decor items and fresh flowers etc. They set everything up in an efficient and timely manner. I didn’t get to see the full result until I was walking out to begin the ceremony and it brought me to tears!
