Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa is a resort set within the gorgeous property of Danzante Bay, overlooking the waters of the Sea of Cortez.
The resort features quiet, secluded beaches, modern amenities, exceptional service, a selection of delicious restaurant options, and five swimming pools that together, form the shape of a giant turtle (so cool!).
Right on the resort grounds you’ll find the world-class TPC Danzante Bay Golf Course, with one of the world’s best views from a golf course. (I’m not kidding – we went back to the signature hole #17 to photograph sunset – the view was that good…more on that to come!)
There is also a 39,000-square-foot award-winning Sabila Spa (the massage I had here was mega relaxing and the facilities were lovely). Many of the women I spoke with here were golfers’ wives enjoying a spa vacation at Sabila Spa during the days while their husbands golfed.
The grounds are intuitively set up, impeccably kept and full of beautiful blooming plants and cacti.
Even just wandering around the property itself is an enjoyable activity – the place is lush, green, and gorgeous!
TPC Danzante Bay Golf Course: Mexico’s Only TPC Golf Course
TPC Danzante Bay is a beautiful, multi-themed 18-hole masterpiece of a golf course.
Designed by Rees Jones, the golf course runs over and through valleys, arroyos, dunes and foothills, taking players on a jaw-dropping tour of the incredible natural vistas of Loreto Bay.
From every angle, views of the Islands of Loreto and the surrounding Sierra de la Giganta mountain range envelope this challenging (yet rewarding) golf course.
Each hole is designed to provide a unique experience. The front nine will enthrall you with its views, and the back nine excites with dramatic cliff holes that hang over the Sea of Cortez.
There’s a reason Danzante Bay Golf Course has achieved TPC status, and it only takes a few minutes on this golf course to understand why.

Whale Watching Season in Loreto
Whale watching from Loreto is a world-class experience! Every year, Loreto is host to blue whales, the largest creatures on earth. The season runs from end of January to middle of March.
The Best Time to go to Loreto:
In my opinion, the best time to go to Loreto, Mexico is October (if you’re not going for whale watching season).
Temperatures are comfortable (around 25 Celsius to 30 Celsius), and the weather is not as humid as it is during the summer.
Prices for accommodations are lower priced compared to the peak season, which is winter.

How to Get to Loreto:
ALASKA AIRLINES:
Alaska Airlines flys from Los Angeles to Loreto on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
WESTJET:
Westjet flys from Calgary to Loreto on Saturdays from November to May.

Hi my wife and I are staying in Rosarito for a few months. And we were gifted a stay at this resort. We are supposed to leave in 5 days, and my car was stolen and my wallet was in the car along with my passport. Do you know if I need to show I’d to check in to the room if it’s my wife’s name on the confirmation email?
