Moose Hotel & Suites – Where to Stay in Banff
Any trip to Banff is made so much better when your hotel has a central location that’s within walking distance from Banff’s best restaurants and shops!
The Moose Hotel & Suites has a perfect location. We chose to stay at the Moose, and couldn’t have picked a better hotel to base ourselves out of for our adventurous and romantic weekend in Banff.
Not to mention, this hotel is beautiful. Completely STUNNING. The Moose is “mountain elegance” at its finest, with its design consisting of rich, warm, natural materials and artistic, creative decor. And we definitely loved the adorable moose-themed details throughout the hotel!
The Moose Hotel & Suites features 174 comfortable, well decorated, air-conditioned guest rooms. You might not think that AC is critical in a mountain town like Banff, but our AC unit was much appreciated – and used – as we visited during the midst of a summer heatwave! Our room also had a cozy fireplace.
You can choose from one or two-bedroom suites and hotel rooms, and they come with all of the amenities you need during your time visiting this bucket list mountain town.
The rooms are accessible via a gorgeous open-air corridor that was built around a cozy heritage house (“The Corner House“) from the early 1900’s (pssst – you can actually stay in it too if you like!)
The Moose is also a pet-friendly hotel, so you can bring along your furry friends! (Inquire first, as not all rooms are pet friendly). And though the Moose is located right on Banff Ave, walking distance to Banff’s best restaurants, you might not want to leave your hotel. The delicious Pacini Italian Restaurant is located onsite right in the Moose Hotel & Suites. We only had breakfast here (which was yummy), but the gourmet Italian food looked and smelled quite delicious around dinnertime as well. And they have a bread bar, which, if you’ve never experienced, you definitely need to!

Banff’s Best Spa – Right in the Moose Hotel & Suites
The Moose also has one of the best spas in Banff on-site, called the Meadow Spa & Pools. It offers fantastic treatments to pamper yourself and the one you love after your adventure activities (more on that soon!)
This hotel also offers not one but two STUNNING rooftop hot pools that feature gorgeous views of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Can you say Instagram-worthy?!

This is now one of our favorite hotels located in Banff National Park. It’s beautiful, has the best location, has fantastic amenities, and we can even bring Lila!
