Where is Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge located?
Sweet Songs is located in the Belizean ecotourism destination of Cayo District, which refuses to be commercialized!
You won’t find any high-rise chain hotels in this area. Instead, here Belize showcases its dedication to conservation and eco-tourism. Belize’s Cayo District is made up of an astounding 880,000 acres of protected areas, nature reserves, and national parks. It’s a stunning part of Central America. It’s not yet an overly popular destination, which makes it the perfect choice for a honeymoon destination or a romantic couples getaway at a luxury resort in the jungle.
Over the last 20 million years, the limestone in this area has been gradually disintegrated over time by running water, creating the breathtaking caves, sinkholes, and underwater rivers that have made Cayo District famous.

Arriving at Belize Airport:
The small but organized Belize International Airport has excellent signage to guide visitors through customs. A passport and evidence of return (or onward travel) are required at the point of entrance.
Getting to the Resort:
For a fee of $75 USD per person one way, guests can take a van from Belize International Airport to Sweet Songs. Or, if you choose to get yourself even closer to the lodge via air, you can take a local flight from Belize International Airport to San Ignacio Airstrip (Maya Flats).

For an all-inclusive stay at Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge, I highly recommend adding-on their All Inclusive Packages!
Sweet Songs is a true rainforst resort, and remains undiscovered and off the beaten path. This means that the closest restaurants are located in San Ignacio town, about 15 minutes away by car! The majority of visitors to Sweet Songs opt to add the All Inclusive Package to their stay. Not only is it conveient, the food here is SO GOOD. This package is the perfect addition for your all-inclusive Belize honeymoon!
With the All Inclusive Package, you can take advantage of free activities and delectable farm-to-table meals. All meals, including the yummy breads and decadent desserts, are freshly cooked every day utilising products from the adjacent Muy’Ono Farms. You’ll also receive a picnic lunch if you head out on an excursion or tour. You can also take advantage of the on-site activities, such as the system of hiking paths, tubing the onsite Macal River, and relaxing on the beach. The package also includes a shuttle from the Maya Flats airstrip.

Cozy Up in a Luxury Treehouse for your Honeymoon
Have you ever dreamt of sleeping in a beautiful treehouse in the jungle?
I certainly have, and Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge made my honeymoon dreams come true!
We stayed in the Premier Treehouse, and it really was as unique and special of an experience as I’d always envisioned.
I can’t recommend it enough, especially if you’re hoping for a little extra magic in your jungle getaway where you can relish intimate moments, enjoy a bottle of wine and cuddle up to your love.
The Premier Treehouses are a brand-new addition to the resort. They’re perfectly situated on the property for seclusion and the most spectacular views of the jungle. When you cross the suspension bridge leading to your treetop retreat, it will feel as though you are entering a different dimension!
The Premier Treehouses feature incredible outdoor features such as an outdoor bathtub (my favorite) and a suspended outdoor day bed with jungle views. It’s the perfect place to stay for your Belize Honeymoon All Inclusive Resort getaway!
The interior is just as spectacular! We appreciated the comfy king bed, beautiful hardwood floors, air conditioning, and full private bathroom with indoor shower. You’re offered complete privacy in your own beautiful treehouse.

Our Review of Sweet Songs as a Belize Honeymoon All Inclusive Resort
Sweet Songs Jungle Resort is one special place. The resort is named after the “sweet songs” sung by the many birds around the property that you can hear, and the entire place is a full immersion into the beauty of the Belizean jungle. There are so many things to do on the property, such as horseback riding, hiking the many trails, tubing the lazy river, and relaxing at the private beach right onsite. The food and drinks are wonderful, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and the infinity pool is gorgeous.
This place is incredible, and I absolutely cannot recommend it enough. You can’t go wrong with a vacation here, so book your stay ASAP – you’ll be so happy you did and come back smiling and relaxed!
